HYDERABAD: Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Ravindra has directed that movie theater owners to renew their theater licenses and follow proper safety standards, citing the possibility of accidents due to the lack of safety standards in the cinema
Ravindra conducted a meeting with Joint Commissioner Avinash Mahanthy, DCP Traffic T Srinivas Rao, DCP Madapur Shilpavalli, DCP Balanagar Sandeep, DCP Shamshabad Jagadishwar Reddy, Admin DCP Indira has held a meeting with Roads and Buildings Department, Fire Department, Electrical Department, GHMC, Law & Order, Traffic Police personnel and movie theatre owners in Rangareddy, Medchal, and Sangareddy districts under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
He warned of legal action against those who violate the rules and regulations.
The commissioner further advised the theatre managements to follow a specific time-schedule to reduce congestion on busy roads and avoid frequent traffic jams and provide parking facilities.
Cyberabad ACPs, DFOs Sudhakar Rao, Sridhar Reddy, Purnachander, and other officials of the Roads and Buildings department, Fire Department, Electrical, and GHMC Departments participated in this program.
