Heart, kidneys carted in 6 minutes through green channel from Apollo to NIMS

HYDERABAD: A set of live organs were transported a distance of 6.5-km in 6.1 minutes in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Traffic Inspector in Banjara Hills limits T Narsimha Raju, arranged a green channel and piloted the transport of kidneys and a heart from Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills to NIMS Hospital.

The traffic police, at 3:15 pm on Tuesday, cleared the route in Banjara Hills made the transport possible.
