Hyderabad police issues traffic advisory for Lal Darwaza Mahankali Bonalu

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad City Police issued a traffic advisory, on Friday, in view of the Lal Darwaza Mahankali Bonalu on July 24 and July 25, to facilitate proper control and regulation of traffic.

The following traffic regulations were made in Charminar, Mirchowk, Falaknuma, Bahadurpura areas of Old City.

Traffic diversions for the Bonalu procession on July 25 in Old City areas from12 noon to 11 PM.

1.The Traffic coming from Enginebowli, Falaknuma would not be allowed towards Aliyabad, and it would be diverted at new Shamsheergunj "T" junction towards –Goshala, Tadban or Goshala Misri Gunj, Khilwath.

2.The Traffic coming from Rajanna Bowli towards Lal Darwaza temple would be diverted at Pather-ki-Darga lane towards Ramaswamy gunj.

3.The Traffic coming from Kandikalgate would not be allowed towards Lal Darwaza Temple road and it would be diverted at Old Chatrinaka PS "Y" junction towards Gowlipura.

4.The Traffic coming from Balagunj would not be permitted towards Lal Darwaza Temple and it would be diverted at Laxhmi Devi Pan shop towards Nehru Statue Nagulchinta Junction.

5.The Traffic coming from Uppuguda and Chatrinaka side via. Gowlipura would not be allowed towards Mohammed Shukoor mosque and would be diverted at Balraj Jewelers point Gowlipura X roads towards Moghalpura Police Station.

6.The Traffic coming from Meer-ka-Daira and Moghalpura would not be allowed towards Hari Bowli "X" Roads and it would be diverted towards Moghalpura Water Tank area.

7.The Traffic coming towards Charminar main road from Asra Hospital side & Moghalpura Water Tank would not be allowed and would be diverted towards Bibi Bazar.

8.The Traffic coming from Bhavani Nagar and Mirjumla Talab would not be allowed towards Charminar and would be diverted at Bibi Bazar X Roads towards Alijah Kotla (MiralamMandi road).

9.The Traffic coming from Alijha Kotla / Moghalpura areas towards Charminar via Sardar Mahal road would be diverted at Chowk Maidan Khan towards Hafiz Danka Masque / Arman Hotel via Sri Gayatri College and Alijha Kotla.

10.The Traffic coming from Yakutpura would not be allowed towards Gulzar House and it would be diverted at Etabar chowk towards Mir Alam Mandi and Alijha Kotla road.

11.The Traffic coming from Purani Haveli towards Tipu Khana Masjid via Chatta Bazar would be diverted at Lakkad Kote "X" -Roads towards APAT Junctions or Dar-ul-Shifa.

12.The Traffic coming from Chadrghat / Noorkhan Bazar / S.J rotary / Shivaji Bridge would not be allowed towards Salarjung Museum road and it would be diverted at S.J Rotary towards Purani Haveli road, Shivaji Bridge and Chadarghat.

13.The Traffic coming from Fateh Darwaza would not be allowed towards Himmatpura X Roads/ Rajesh Medical Hall and it would be diverted at Volga Hotel "T" Junction towards Khilwath road.

14.The Traffic coming from Khilwath road or Moosabowli road would not be allowed towards Laad Bazar and it would be diverted at Motigalli "T" junction towards Khilwat Play ground or Moosa Bowli.

15.The Traffic coming from Bandi ke adda and Ghansi bazaar would not be allowed towards Gulzar House and it would be diverted at Mitte-Ke-Sher (Sher-E-Batul Kaman) towards Ghansi Bazar and Chelapura.

16.The Traffic coming from Puranapul, Good would Hotel and Moosabowli would not be allowed towards Nayapool via, High court Gate No-1 along the Musi River and it would be diverted at Muslimjung Bridge towards– Bhoolaxmi Temple- Begum Bazar- Chatri.

17.The Traffic coming from Gowliguda and Siddiamber Bazar towards Nayapool would be diverted at Afzalgunj towards Muslimjung Bridge via Osmania General Hospital back side road along the Musi River or Shivaji Bridge.

18.The Main road between Madina X -Roads to Engine Bowli, Via Gulzar House – Charminar monuments, Charminar Bus terminal, Himmatpura, Nagulchinta, Aliabad would be closed for all types of vehicular movement till the conclusion of Bonalu processions.

1.Devotees coming from Aliabad side shall park their vehicles at Devi Plywood opposite to Post office, Shalibanda in a single line on the main road.

The TS & APSRTC buses would not be allowed towards Charminar, Falaknuma and Nayapool side and it would terminate at old CBS, Afzalgunj, Darulshifa X Roads and Engine Bowli and would take alternate routes open to them.

The commuters and the general public were requested to avoid the above routes and take alternative routes on the above mentioned dates and time to reach their destinations.
