IMD issues yellow alert to Hyderabad; cold wave expected till Friday

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad has been issued a yellow alert by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday. The minimum temperature is expected to drop and the city is said to witness cold wave till Friday.
The IMD on Monday reported the minimum temperature of Hyderabad as 14.5 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature is likely to range between 11 and 15 degrees Celsius for the next four days.
Besides Hyderabad, other districts of Telangana including Hanumakonda, Jagitial, Jangaon, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Siddipet and Warangal were also issued a yellow alert.
Districts like Adilabad, Komarambheem, Mancherial, Medak, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Rangareddy, Sangareddy and Vikarabad were issued an orange alert by the IMD.
