Indvs NZ ODI: Rachakonda police release parking advisory for Uppal stadium
In connection with the One Day Cricket, the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate released parking arrangements provided for two-wheelers and four-wheelers
HYDERABAD: In connection with the One Day Cricket match between India and New Zealand on Wednesday, the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate released parking arrangements provided for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
The match is expected to have nearly 40,000 spectators including VVIPs, VIPs, general public, press and duty officials. The parking arrangements at various places around the stadium are as follows.
The following areas are prohibited for parking. Towing and penalties will be applied if the vehicles were parked in restricted areas.
1. The VIP Pass Holders coming from the Tarnaka side, should proceed towards Habsiguda – NGRI – Ek Minar right turn – Gate No-1A enter the stadium, and park their vehicles in A and C Parking (inside the stadium).
2. The VIP pass holders coming from Amberpet Side, should proceed towards Doordharshan – Ramanthapur - Street No-8 left turn Gate No-1A to enter the stadium and park their vehicles at A and C Parking slots (inside the stadium).
3. The VIP pass holders coming from Nagole side and Warangal High-way side, should proceed towards Uppal X Road – Survey of India – Ek Minar left turn – Gate No-1A enter the stadium and park their vehicles at A and C Parking slots (inside the stadium).
4. The vehicle pass holders of A and C parking are advised to choose Habsiguda – Uppal Road only.
5. Two and Four-wheeler parking towards Hubsiguda to Uppal Road should park their vehicles on the left side of NGRI Gate No-I to III up to Stadium Metro parking.
6. Two and four-wheelers coming from Uppal to Habsiguda road should park their vehicles inside the TSIALA Parking from Penguin gate.
7. Four-wheelers coming from Uppal to Ramanthapur and Ramanthapur to Uppal side should be parked in the cellar of Cinepolis, inside Modern bakery, DSL open land (Opposite NSL/Arena).
8. Two-wheelers coming from Uppal to Ramanthapur and Ramanthapur to Uppal, can park their vehicles in the adjacent lanes of Modern Bakery, Amma Bhagwan Seva Lane, Eenadu Office Lane, KV School to DSL (each side), and LG Go-down to NSL building (each side).
9. It is prohibited to park four-wheelers on both sides of the main road, from Uppal Junction to Genpact (towards Habsiguda Road).
10. Restrictions – Heavy vehicles are not permitted from Nagole, Chengicherla X Road, NFC Bridge, Hubsiguda, and Amberpet side from 11 am to 11:30 pm.
11. Pedestrians can access the stadium from any road.
12. Restrictions - There will be no access for any vehicles, except those who are having vehicle passes from Ek Minar to LG Go-down (towards Ramanthapur route). They can proceed from Street No 8 Habsiguda to Ramanthapur.
Citizens are advised to take alternate routes to reach their destination in view of the above diversions/restrictions and traffic congestion. The traffic diversions and road closures will be removed as soon as the match is over, said the police.
