IndvsNZ ODI at Uppal: 3 cases registered on black ticketing

HYDERABAD: A total of three cases were registered on black ticketing in Hyderabad ahead of the India vs New Zealand One Day International match, said Malkajgiri DCP Rakshita K Murthy on Tuesday. 

The ODI match was scheduled on January 18 at Uppal Stadium.

The DCP also said that the security arrangements for Wednesday’s match were being made with high priority being given to security at the gates. The security at each gate would be monitored by Circle-Inspectors, she said.

“People are expected to come in large numbers during the second innings. A huge number of police would be deployed at the venue. We will have a reserve force too. Only the VIPs will enter from gate one to avoid the crowd,” the DCP said.
