HYDERABAD: As part of Phase 2 works of the Hyderabad metro rail, a 31-km-long metro line, starting from Mindspace Junction till the Shamshabad Airport, will be constructed with a budget of Rs 6,250 crore.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will lay the foundation stone for the Airport Express metro on December 9.

HMRL, recently, sent proposals for developing Phase 2 of metro rail, which included the 31-km metro line till the airport and another 31-km metro line which would connect BHEL to Lakdi Ka Pul.

Happy to announce that Hon'ble CM KCR Garu will be laying the foundation for Airport Express Metro on 9th December

This project starting at Mindspace junction to Shamshabad Airport will be 31 KM long & will be costing approximately ₹6,250 Cr."
