The ticket prices of medium-budget films in A and B centers would be Rs. 112 (single screens) and Rs. 177 (multiplexes). In C centers, the price would be Rs. 100 (single screens) and Rs. 177 (multiplexes).

Coming to the big budget films, the prices in A and B centers would be Rs. 177 (single screens) and Rs. 295 (multiplexes). In C centers, the rate will be Rs. 150 (single screens) and Rs. 295 (multiplexes).

If it gets implemented, we have to see how far these ticket rates will help theatres get more footfall. On the other side, the chamber is also planning to implement an OTT window of 10 weeks for movies with a budget of more than six crores.

The Chamber members will announce the same officially soon.
