PA of Jubilee Hills MLA accused of slitting woman's throat

HYDERABAD: Vijay Simha, the personal assistant of Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath is mired in a controversy after he was accused of slitting a woman's neck on Sunday night. Reportedly, the accident took place at a house party in the city.

Nisha, a 35-year-old woman, was injured in the incident. She was receiving treatment at a private hospital. The woman, along with her husband, are accusing Vijay Simha of slitting her throat following an argument.

According to reports, the alleged incident occurred within the limits of the Punjagutta police station. Nisha and her family expressed suspicions that the police were trying to hush up the case because the accused is the PA of the MLA.
