HYDERABAD: The Panjagutta Police have seized Rs 70 lakhs of unaccounted money and arrested two persons during a vehicle check carried out within their police station limits. Some reports claimed that one of the arrested was a senior functionary of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). The accused were commuting towards Somajiguda when they were intercepted at Panjagutta. They were arrested as they reportedly failed to show necessary receipts and documents for the cash amid suspicions that the money was accessed from the illegal hawala route.
