Telangana govt. shifts petrol pump adjacent to new secretariat to Kavadiguda

HYDERABAD: Ahead of the inauguration of the new Secretariat, the Telangana government has taken up measures to shift the petrol pump located adjacent to the new Secretariat to Kavadiguda and acquired the land into secretariat premises.

The government has issued notices on the same to this extent and is fencing the petrol pump area.

The petrol pump run under the auspices of the Civil Supplies Department is used to supply fuel — be it petrol or diesel — to the vehicles belonging to various departments based on the coupon system. Also, the common public in large numbers made great use of this petrol pump because there won't be any sort of fuel adulteration as it is run by government.

The public, who were unaware of the latest developments, returned after noticing that the petrol pump is being shifted.

Meanwhile, the construction of the new Secretariat near Hussain Sagar Lake is nearing completion and Chief Minister KCR will inaugurate it on February 17.
