HYDERABAD: As many as three cars were gutted in the car parking area at Gagan Vihar Complex in Nampally.
It is said that parking for cars for the visitors to Numaish, the famous annual Industrial Exhibition of Hyderabad, at Gagan Vihar.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that fire broke out from an electric car and it spread to two other cars around.
Fire tenders were pressed into service to put out the fire.
The cars were completely gutted and the police reached the scene to bring the situation under control.
The crowds at Numaish were more than usual as it’s a Saturday, weekend.

It’s the day before that DeccanMall at Minister’s Road under Ramgopalpet Police Station limits in Secunderabad caught fire burning down the entire building. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is contemplating demolishing the structure. At least three people were feared charred to death inside the building.
On Friday, a car caught fire near Bharani Complex in the Minister’s Road.
However, locals put out the fire quickly.
Electric two-wheelers usually catch fire, but it’s rare for cars to catch fire.
The make of the electric car has yet to be established.
The fire caused panic among the large number of people who visited the Numaish on Saturday. It also caused heavy traffic on the Nampally road. Apart from the cars being gutted, no casualties were reported.
