Traffic advisory for tricolour balloons programme at Tank Bund on August 13

HYDERABAD: In connection with release of tricoloured balloons programme, a part of the Swatantra Bharata Vajrostavalu, which are scheduled to be held at Upper Tank Bund on August 13, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, the following diversions would be enforced to regulate traffic

Traffic diversions from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on August 13

1. Traffic coming from Liberty towards Upper Tank Bund would not be allowed and diverted at Ambedkar statue towards Telugu Thalli, IqbalMinar.

2. Traffic coming from Telugu Thalli towards Upper Tank Bund would not be allowed and diverted at Ambedkar statue towards Liberty, Himayath Nagar.

3. Traffic coming from Karbala Maidan towards Upper Tank Bund would not be allowed and diverted at Sailing Club towards Kawadiguda DBR Mills - Lower Tank Bund – KattaMaisamma – Telugu Talli Flyover.

4. Traffic coming from DBR Mills towards Upper Tank Bund would not be allowed and diverted at DBR Mills towards Gosala – Kavadiguda – Jabbar Complex – Bible House.

5. Traffic coming from IqbalMinar towards Secunderabad would be diverted at Old Secretariat towards Telugu Talli Flyover.

Parking places:

1. Visitors coming from Teluguthalli side should park their vehicles at NTR Ghat road and New MLA quarters.

2. Visitors coming from Liberty side should park their vehicles at slip road of Lower Tank Bund .

3. Visitors coming from RTC X roadside should park their vehicles in NTR stadium .

4. Visitors coming from Secunderabad side should park their vehicles at Buddha Bhavan road and Necklace Road.

The commuters and general public were requested to avoid Tank Bund route and take alternative routes on August 13 and start early to reach their destinations without any hindrance and co-operate with the Traffic Police.
