TRS MLAs' poaching case: ACB Court rejects bail for accused
The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Court in Nampally rejected bail to the Ramachandra Bharati alias Satish Sharma, Nandakumar and Simhayaji
HYDERABAD: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Court in Nampally on Monday rejected bail to the Ramachandra Bharati alias Satish Sharma, Nandakumar and Simhayaji, the accused in the sensational MLAs' poaching case.
According to reports, the court rejected the bail petition of the accused while agreeing with the police counsel's argument that granting bail during investigation would obstruct the progress of the case.
The three accused, Nanda Kumar, Ramachandra Bharati alias S Satish Sharma and Simhayaji, were apprehended by Moinabad police last month while allegedly attempting to lure four TRS MLAs to change their loyalties to the BJP. The three are currently under police custody and are being questioned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), constituted by the Telangana Government to probe the case.
