Elderly woman approaches authorities as son refuses financial help for ailing husband’s treatment

KARIMNAGAR: An elderly woman has approached the authorities seeking help after her son refused to provide financial support for her ailing husband's medical treatment.

The woman, Enugu Raju from Chittapur village in Mallapur mandal in Karimnagar district, approached the Mettpally Sub-Collector's office complainig that her son had neglected her and her husband, Raja Gangaram, leaving them struggling to cover essential medical costs.

Earlier, on July 7, Enugu had filed a complaint in the Prajavani programme, leading the RDO to order her son to pay Rs 5,000 per month. However, she reported that despite the order, her son has not fulfilled his obligation. Desperate for justice, she urged officials to enforce the financial support order to ensure her husband's treatment continues.
