HYDERABAD: It’s like poetic justice meted out to the impudent aspirant of Congress ticket aspirant Kotha Manohar Reddy. He paid a price for his rant on TV channels about corruption in the Congress. It’s not long ago that he had cast aspersions on Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy and quit the BRS seeing greener pastures in the Congress.

But, as the maxim of old habits die hard, he repeated the act of ranting against leadership- in this case his subject was TPCC president Revanth Reddy - and got ejected out of the party.

Now he’s caught in a bind with dashed hopes and doomed future.

Wagging tongue is as dangerous as wagging tail. His charges against Revanth Reddy that huge sums were being demanded for Congress tickets may not be unfounded. After all, Revanth Reddy was caught in video cameras offering wads of currency as bribe to an Anglo-Indian MLA Elvis Stevenson to cross-vote in favour of the Telugu Desam Party MLC candidate in 2015.

But, Kotha Manohar Reddy had indeed burnt bridges with BRS and now with the Congress too.
