Realtor Ismail killed in gunfire at Madhapur

HYDERABAD: Real estate businessman from Kalapathar area in Old City of Hyderabad Ismail was shot dead at the upmarket Ayyappa Society in Madhapur.

It's learnt that two others also received bullet injuries in the firing. The police shifted the body of Ismail to Osmania General Hospital.

The police suspect old rivalries as the chief reason for the killing. The police are suspecting that three persons — Sadique, Mujahid and Jeelani — as the assailants. Six rounds of fire was opened on Ismail and land dispute is said to be the trigger for the attack.

The police said that they all had come to Madhapur to discuss the issue pertaining to a land deal. The body of Ismail was left near Neeru's in Madhapur.

The police registered a case and are investigating, while complete details are awaited.
