HYDERABAD: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has moved an adjournment motion against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka for their conduct towards women MLAs.
BRS Working President and Sircilla MLA K Taraka Rama Rao submitted notices to the Assembly Secretary, alleging that the Chief Minister's remarks were disrespectful and tarnished the dignity and reputation of the MLAs.
During a discussion on the Appropriation Bill in the Assembly on Wednesday afternoon, an exchange between the government and KTR took place. Suddenly, Revanth Reddy made inappropriate comments directed at BRS MLA and former minister Sabitha Indra Reddy and Sunitha Lakshma Reddy, causing a significant uproar in the Assembly.
The Chief Minister's comments led to chaos, with BRS MLAs demanding an immediate apology.
