Kishan Reddy, Bandi Sanjay get berths in Modi Cabinet from Telangana

Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay were informed by the PM's Office of their inclusion in the Union Cabinet, taking oath today.

HYDERABAD: BJP MPs from Telangana, G Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay, have been chosen by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for induction into his cabinet.

Both Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay secured their seats for the second time from the Secunderabad and Karimnagar constituencies, respectively. Kishan Reddy had previously served as a minister in Modi's cabinet and will continue in that role. He also serves as the president of the Telangana BJP, a position previously held by Bandi Sanjay.

Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay received phone calls from the Prime Minister's Office, informing them of their inclusion in the Union Cabinet, which will take oath today. The BJP won eight MP seats in Telangana in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.

President Draupadi Murmu will administer the oath of office to Modi and his cabinet at a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Sunday at 7:15 pm.
