Revanth Reddy angry over cost escalation of Warangal Hospital

WARANGAL: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed anger over the escalation of the estimated cost for constructing the Warangal Super Specialty Hospital.

He questioned the authorities about increasing the cost from Rs 1,100 crore to Rs 1,726 crore without approval, criticising the Rs 626 crore hike through verbal orders. He demanded an explanation for this increase against stipulated rules and ordered a full forensic audit of the construction costs.

The Chief Minister also directed the construction company to complete the hospital on a war footing within the deadline.
